Der Kultfilm der Monty Python-Truppe lästert und ulkt über Römer, Sekten und Entertainment vor zweitausend Jahren und parodiert den Kitsch von Bibelfilmen und Historienspektakteln. Im großen Finale der Kreuzigungsszene singt und pfeift Eric Idle fröhlich sein Lied "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life".

Rife with Monty Python's signature absurdity, the tale finds Brian's life paralleling Biblical lore, albeit with many more laughs.
